Why MatchPace: I have always loved to work and believe that work can be incredibly purposeful and life-giving, but only if it’s balanced correctly with the other things that make us human: family, friends, community, faith, and the planet. I believe so strongly in MatchPace’s mission to help organizations do their best work without sacrificing other priorities. Our systems aren’t set up to help us live our most well-rounded, sustainable lives, but together we can work toward that goal.
Favorite Hobby: I’m an avid reader, especially of fiction, and enjoy sharing what I’m reading on Instagram. This year, my favorite reads have been Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver and The Brothers K by David James Duncan. I also love to garden, even though long Montana winters don’t make it easy!
Favorite Place I've Volunteered: My oldest daughter started Kindergarten last year and I fell in love with helping in her classroom. I definitely don’t have the patience to be a teacher (thank you, teachers!), but getting to help with special projects and fun events and get to know some of my daughter’s friends was a blast! I’m grateful that I have the flexibility to both work and be involved in my children’s schooling.
Professional Experience: I love strategic communications and helping people and organizations tell their stories in a compelling, authentic way. I’ve been privileged to work with some amazing mission-driven organizations, from government to nonprofits to the corporate sector.
Professional Qualifications: BS in Political Science, MA in Communications
Sector Experience: Government, Nonprofit, Corporate
The People I Love: My husband and two daughters (plus a cat and 9 chickens!)
